Love through Loss
Hello Everyone,
I would like to take the time to share the importance of love when losing someone that is near and dear to you. Love does not mean that we will not hurt, but becuase we love, we hurt. We hurt because the we feel that noboday can understand what it is to loose someone you love so much. Not until it happens to them. I remember a few years back I was so thankful for not understanding the true meaning of loss. I had lost my Grandmother years back, but I was young and did not feel the heartbreak until my best friend died. She wasn't only my best friend, but she had an even closer friend who really felt lost without our friend. They were friends for over 20 years, I only knew her eight short years. We bickered and fought over dumb things just like sisiters. She would talk crap about me, but She was so funny that it didn't matter, because most of the crap had some truth to it. That's the kind of friends we were. We could tell each other anything no matter how rough we may take it. But we knew that we were just looking out for the good of one another.
Midge is her name. What sucks is that nobody did anything for her. I can't even stomach the courge to call her old friend and say, hey let's do something in rememberence of Midge. I totally stopped talking to the family after she passed. I could not bare the pain of hearing her friend's voice who sounds like Midge. She was the great frined who looked after Midge's mom once Midge passed. My reasons are poor for not wanting to go and help. Really just selfish and now I have to live with this.
But today now that I am writing this I believe I just build up the courage to send her frien a message.
This board can be really good because it does give you courge once you get your feelings out.
wish me luck and maybe her friend and I can do something in memory of Midge.
