Love - the unrequited kind

The thing is I am super picky about who I date - and when I meet someone I truly like - that's a pretty big deal.
I met someone last year who I fell for immediately and hard.  He is funny, charming, good hearted and I think sees the potential in me.
The only thing is he is my co-worker and in corporate America you do not date - so I'm stuck - also I cannot read him.
Some days I am convinced that he cares for me to other days...I am unsure. It's horrible one day I am on a complete high - he invites me to get drinks - just us - or even lunch and the other day I feel down in the dumps about it.
My dating history could fill a single sheet of paper - double spaced. I don't date very much - like I said I'm picky. I know fairly quickly whether or not I can see myself with someone. I don't care to waste someones time and I don't want mine to be wasted.
I see him everyday and I just love being around him but I need to get over him - but that's hard...really hard.
