had dinner at k's. saw In Our Time 1944 about Poland as they were invaded by the nazi's, without warning or declaration of war and the "normal" months before that leading up to World War II, when Poland was still using calvary and farming by hand instead of using machines. They called the attack by the nazi's a wall of steel because of all the tanks attacking men on horses! omg! very sad and very enlightening. Ida Lupino and Paul Henreid were in it. k made pork loin (i know i shouldn't eat it) and veggies, some kind of pasta thing with cheese, which was EXCELLENT, wish i 'd remembered to ask how he made it. i brought over peach smoothies to have with vodka or gin, also excellent. really enjoying tcm for the first time ever, lots of really great old movies. (though i was into that a zillion years ago when i was still a kid, they used to put them on ordinary tv at 1 a.m. - back when tv would actually turn off and become a blank screen and buzz, and the national anthem and a flag would come on. boy am i old. lol.)
lots of gossip going on because of rg at k's. k says that rg is spying with his webcam on a small 10 inch laptop and k is getting calls from frenemies of rg's on his phone. don't people have anything better to do? the only thing i remember with that crap is rg INSISTING i meet some new "friends" of his that he met at petsmart (like this would ever interest me) and i was like, no thanks. he wouldn't let it drop. it was like a year ago, finally i said to him straight out, you aren't a friend and i have no interest at all in knowing anyone that you know. hate to be rude like that but at his age, he should know better than to act like a social retard, which is what that kind of behavior is - you don't force yourself on others, you don't home invade, you don't show up empty-handed...how can you be that old and have no manners. i think k's right and rg is spying - which is super-creepy. using his webcam and i think k should change his phone number. what a total asshole rg is.
who the hell gives out someone else's name address and phone number without the other person's permission. its repulsive. no wonder his sister can't stand him. so that will be the next thing to deal with, what a pain in the ass. seriously. try a miss manners book asshole. there is more to this from last year, but its getting long. all bad anyway. (he's had trouble with rg before, usually because rg is a republican and ridiculously conservative, the instructions are to never leave those two in a room alone together. i did that once and k was horrified and i had no idea. i figured he would be as liberal in his views as the rest of us. he's isn't at all. but the giving out personal information or this webcam spying thing is beyond rude, its stalking. and stalking is a 6 year felony since 1991.
br is going through something similar from his neighbor across the street and that has been going on since before i knew him. she used to harrass his wife when she was alive (and sick with cancer). then she harassed the people renting the house next door for the winter last year. now she is harassing br. what is creepy is its always the same people doing the harrassing and br lives about one hour from k's house and they don't know each other. guess those petsmart people are as bad as everyone says. rg goes to me, people won't join them because of all the other groups so they are trying to cancel out the other rescue groups by homeinvading and harrassing people, (he knows this and then he gives out people's addresses and phone numbers without the other person's permission, doesn't sound like an accident to me) hmmmm, how about put these hoodlums in prison where they belong and problem is solved. i told br to sik his sister on them, because she works for irs. if they want harrassment, well here you go. lol.

Love the thought....about love and picking the flower. It\'s so true. Love is so about appreciation. And giving......and sharing. It is SO not about what we can get from other people. Takes time to learn what love really is. Some people never do learn. Very sad.

i think many people have never been \"in love\" so they have no idea what it feels like. many people have been in lust, or make-do only, because they can\'t find others who think similarly to themselves so they never have the common bond thing at all. what shocked me was reading donnad\'s 25 things about her its the \"example\", i think its on the aaa destress group. she is a criminal but dreams of finding a criminal just like her who understands her because they are criminals too. wth? don\'t quite get that, even though i know its her version of the real thing. weird though.
