lousy relatives
Saturday night disclosure, for a hoped-for better start on Sunday.
I never knew what it was like to have relatives; a grandfather died before I was born; other grandparents gone when I was really young. My evil mom dragged me to old folks home to see her mom, who asked out loud if I was from my dad's first wife! Wish I had repeated that to my phoney-baloney religious idiot dad.
Only uncle who visited regularly showed up for free booze, with my evil mom giving him lots of food, with me doing without cause of it. Scumbag uncle also jokingly asked, when I was maybe 12, if I'd share my wife with him on my wedding night; scumbag uncle.
Only aunt who visited reguarly would usually leave with something, including furniture.
Another lowlife aunt, when I was 16?...I spent the day helping her family remove weeds for the site of a 2nd house they would build; my cousin asked if it was ok to give me a can of soda---took my cheapskate aunt a long time to say yes; was probably a 20 cent no-name soda.
Thankfully, all these scumbag relatives are dead. I've been a loser all my life---but have lived long enough to win at having the last word on this stuff.

You are NOT a looser. You are a SURVIVOR. And very COURAGEOUS!!
(((Hugs)))
Well, thanks at least for sayin\' that.:)
had a freind who was mad at me for something I said jokingly during a heated game of monopoly 35 years ago...she hung on to that silly, nothing statement for 35 years, held it close and let it fester every year forward, why, I will never know, she was bigger than that, and when she brought it up yet again at the 35th year ... I finally had enough and had to tell her it said a lot more of her, than me, to keep the flame of that anger in her heart, over all the years of our friendship, raising three children, holidays and visits to each others houses, the death of parents and loved ones, she held on to it, all over nothing, for three decades +.
let it go, so many have come from nothing, have had nothing, and go on to make a joy of their lives... even with very little, let the rest of your life be all the joy you can create.
remember ,sharks swim forward, they live their lives forward...nuthin wrong with doing that!
Yeah, you\'re right...but i never even thought about this stuff till last few years, with nobody even now to tell it to.
i think it\'s important to add that my psychotic mom liked people who badmouthed me; some scumbag would say something bad about me, in our own house, and she\'d welcome the person with open arms.
My idiot dad would also say good things about people who badmouthed me, with me again staying quiet. And he no doubt gave money away in bars to scumbags---while never, ever, encouraging me to go to college, or even have a girlfriend.
My parents both liked my back-stabbing \"friend\' who had an ex-stripper for a girlfriend, and who once choaked her till she almost blacked out. And they also liked a neighbor who, when babysitting a married couple, got pregnant by the husband.
And me with no relatives on my dad\'s side, scum relatives on my moms, just a lot of isolation, and too beaten down to think about most of this till my late 40s.
Does feel good to finally let this out, with the hope I can go on.
