Loui

This is the profile of someone who was a good DS friend of mine, Louise:

Don't know if anyone knows her. Or I guess I should say knew her.  She was very severely depressed when we were last communicating here on DS. Then everything just went silent.  No word from her since September 20. I do not think she would go that long without writing anything or replying to my messages. So I know what that means. That what happens when people here lose thier battle for life. There is no announcement about what happened. They just go silent. The funny thing is that she said she was doing a little betterr the last time she wrote me. But I know that is the way it often is. It is like Amy Winehouse. They said she was doing better right before she died. People can be doing better one day, and then get completely overrwhelmed the next day. They may crash down so low that they take their life.  Or just as likely, they may take drugs just like they have a hundred times before, thinking that it won't hurt them any more than it has all the other time. But every time you take drugs like that you are rolling the dice with your life. Maybe this time the dice just came up wrong. That is the way a lot of people go, I think. Michael Jackson for example. In any case, she is gone now, and I miss her. I feel sorry that I and her other DS friends were not enough to get her through. It makes me very sad. :-(
If anyone knows anything about what happened to Loui, please let me know.
If you are depressed, PLEASE don't take drugs to feel better. It only makes your life worse. Just look around. How many drug addicts do you know who are happy with their lives? Drugs don't solve any of your problems, they just add on additional problems to the ones you already have. They add to your physical healtth problems as well as your mental health problems. How many drug addicts do you know who are physiclly healthy? You never know when taking drugs will trigger a bad reaction that will kill you.  If you don't get help and stop, you will likely end up dead. Get help and keep trying to stop until you do.

I can relate to you. My good friend Dan also disappeared from the site without any kind of explanation (in his case he deleted his account). It can be really heartbreaking for me if somebody does that. I just hope that since Loui still has her profile in here, there might be a chance that she\'d come online again (just hoping). Best. Take care and wishing you strength.
