lost mind....no new bike chain....cat threw up
830 this morning to 12 noon now, walked 2 miles to walmart for a new bike chain. At least with the rare walk, my mind wonderfully empty, instead of obsessing over the past, when biking. But---walmart out of bike chains.
It was definately a long, long, long (did i mention long?) 2 miles home without that bike chain. And, again I had to rest for a few minutes; not my 2004 broken leg bothering me, but my crooked back.
And, my poor cat threw up twice before 830 this morning, with me rubbing a paper towel wet with pedialyte over his mouth, so he not dehydrated.
I've lived in my hometown all my life, but at age 54 there's nobody for me to bump into during 2 miles walmart walk (thanks worthless dad & evil mom). But, I can be glad I'm not in a wheelchair, like the guy I saw at walmart today, or stuck like the same rv I've seen at walmart and other local parking spots since last summer.
And, at least when my cat's time is up, he'll be out of pain from his vomiting.
Life could be worse----though at age 18 I wish I had the attitude of doing everything possible to make sure my life was better.

Sorry your kitty isn\'t feeling well. Poor baby - I don\'t know what I\'d do without mine. Snaps for taking a walk! I only went to the mailbox today . . .
thanks for mthe schnapps...though wasnt a walk i wanted to do, though gonna get stuck doing it at least once more, or whenever i can fix bike.
Im so sorry for both our sick kitties. Heartbreaking really!
Bless your sweet heart. I\'m really sorry Walmart didn\'t have the bike chain. that sucks :O(
Hope you find one soon! I\'m sorry about your sweet kitty being so sick too. Bless his sweet little heart too.
Big big hugs~~
TorJanThunder, sorry to hear about your kitty.
LuvMyTitans, thank you, too.
I keep on hoping my 19 yr old bag of bones will be around awhile, with better food, bottled water, pedialyte maybe helping.
Have you tried baby food turkey? My little cat will eat that when nothing else will go down.
I hate to hear about your cat. This is so sad, and I am hoping that things will get better for you. I know that sounds like what most people say, but you are a strong person. I just hate when animals get sick and have to suffer. Hugs to you my friend.
TroJanThunder,
I read about baby food---but I\'m afraid of the salt.
Just a couple weeks ago I bought papaya pills, from poor cat throwing up some 2? years ago; vet said of pills; major ordeal to try to get half-dead, suddenly very much alive & kicking when comes to pills, cat to swallow pills....now I put them in his water dish....though with 180 such pills from walmart, I chewed so many I need to buy more.
Thank you, Lucy570
Up & down with my bag of bones cat. He might actually be better, though he is 19....
Vet, back in November, said he has borderline thyroid trouble----if I have to give him those pills twice a day, that will really be bad for both of us....cause he certainly comes alive, and makes my hands a bloody mess, to get him to ...\'swallow the damn pill!\"
p.s. i\'m a very weak person----but thanks for the hugs.
Hope you can fix both your cat and your bike.
