Lost Identity

To go your whole life thinking that you were a good person ( honest, loyal, trustworthy, caring etc etc)

To have such high hopes and expectations of yourself and then you realize you are not those things anymore. That you're a fake and a disappointment.

That's how I feel

After I cheated I lost my identity. I lost who I was

I was no longer innocent and a great girlfriend who knew how to love. I was selfish. Unloyal, A Cheater, A liar, and just shyt.

I now believe that if your morals have not yet been tested, You can not yet know yourself, Because it's in the testing that will truly bring out who you are. How will you react, how will you ACT when the right amount of igrediants are before you!

I was tested and I failed.

So who am I now.

You are someone that is remorseful, regrets the decision/choice you made and will take this as life's learning lesson. They say life lessons are not always about happy memories but painful lesson to teach us how to be better.

Once a cheater, not always a cheater. I believe we all have choices in life. These choices define who we are as we continue on in life. Each stone in our journey is our path. No human being is perfect. If we were, there would be no crime, wars, etc. Even then, these negative aspects show us what we don't want to be.

We will be tested our entire lives. It's called choices/decisions. Learn from them. Letting the wrong choices you make in life define you can just be as crippling to your soul as making the wrong one.

Everyone has a past, I enjoy learning about everyone's story. To me, that makes them interesting.

Forgive yourself so you can be better than the choice you made.
