Losing weight

In June, I started training for a half marathon, and was running a good 5 days a week.  I've dropped from 230 down to 220, and it feels really good.  But, I tweaked my calf, and now I can't run for a few weeks.  It's a bit frustrating.  I keep trying to run, but the doctor says I keep injuring it.  I need to really give it some good time to heal.  The half marathon is in December, and I still want to run in it.

You have waited 43 years to do the half marathon so what is the rush? Your health is important for without that you will never be able to run one again. The doctor knows best so listen to them. There will be other half marathons but you only get one calf muscle (well two really haha)

Yeah, I\'m starting to see that I don\'t have to run fast and hard. (That\'s how I\'ve injured myself before.) I\'ve got time.
