Lord give me strength

I went to counseling yesterday and broke down.  I told  my counselor I just wish I could get heartfelt hug from anyone....im so lonely in this relationship.  She encouraged me to have the talk with my roomie and tell him that although I love him, Im not in love with him.  I plan on having this conversation in the next few days.  When he feels me getting distant, he puts inconsistent effort in that is too obvious.  I cant live like this anymore.  My ex texted me again and sent me a picture and told me that he hoped I could find my motivation to leave...this coming from the same guy who told me i was weak minded for seeing a counselor.  Why do I attract these manipulative people and why do I feel such loss when they leave or I choose not to stay?  I am being held emotionally hostage here by a person who is too set in their ways to change but crys when I say Im going to leave..its heart wrenching.  Why do I have to feel the guilt when he does nothing to change?  I need to rip this bandaid off.  Work is going good and drama free without the coworker that quit.  It seems there is never a balance.  I know what i need to do...Lord give me the strength.

Do the heartfelt hugs need to be sexual? That need for heartfelt hugs is pretty high on my personal list of what's missing in the on-line support groups, buttttttaaaaa. . . Sexual innuendo eliminated by design. *Just* heart.

In my strictly personals, balance is always an ongoing challenge. My favorite meditation on the question of balance is riding a bicycle. Balance changes for every slope, curve, curb, stick and stone. The only thing harder than finding a balance is keeping a balance.

But it's kinda fun, bumps, scrapes and all.
