loosing a hobby

I used to be mildly active in a group called the SCA. At first he was ok with me going to events. Then it devolved into him constantly saying how he thought it was boring. Eventually he would tell me I needed to grow up and stop thinking about going. A couple years ago I said I wanted to go to an event with my mom. He said no because he said I'd be spending too much $ while I was there. 
Another gem this morning,  he comes in to get socks before leaving for work. As he's leaving the room he turns on the light and says sarcastically "someone's in the room." Being a jerk because I have to remind him to turn the light off when he leaves a room.
