Loose Ends....

I didn't do any big projects today. I have a lot of little projects that need attention... it's like tying up loose ends. I sewed up some holes in hubbie's denim throw. I took all the nails out of the walls where I am no longer going to hang things... i took out nearly 30 nails Geesh. That's a lot of crap coming off the walls. The walls were really cobwebby and dirty behind those things, too. 

I did all the laundry. I like to do laundry. Weird. My mom and brother do too. I love folding clean laundry... so neat and tidy. But I don't like putting it up. That;s why i have to play a trick on myself and do it on my bed. That way it gets put away faster... huh, i think.

I polished the old jewelry desk. It was dusty and really does need some new wax. And the little old fashioned school desk... that i wonder about who actually sat there and learned long ago... in the 1940s.....

i ran to dollar store and bought 4 big blue posters and reinforced the background to my classroom. i ironed some of the wrinkles out fo the "world"... the poster from Time... that i found for $1. imagine... buying the whole world for one dollar... at a second hand store... hope that's nothing prophectic... 

made hobos for dinner... hubby's favorite. he loves them... geesh... i've gained so much weight since not going to TOPS... and just eating whatever i want to poke in my mouth bc i would rather concentrate on projects... when i am concentrating on one thing very hard... seems like other things fall by the way side pretty easily. oh well... 

enjoyed my nap after teaching class this morning... i usually do.. it has been raining... and it's greatly needed. it makes napping feel like a luxury.... 

anna, the queen of clean did not come today... she was ill... or so she said. i wonder sometimes if hubby has ran her off for good. if she doesn't come next week... then i will flat out ask her.... i don't want to lose her.... 

i was going to have her start liquid sanding and me start painting in the kitchen... but with it raining it is not a good idea. i need to have the garage cleaned out before i start that any way... 

back to getting things on FB Marketplace to get the garage cleared outoutout...
