Looky...here...

Well  looky here.... I've bee readin some the bloggs on my support groups.. and the new one ..... I just got invited too...  hey I'm kickin.....I have read an amazin tells of horror and courage that I've ever read...Man I'm glad my problems are so little....To tell the truth... I think a lot of folks are being grossly overmedicated....this system we live in today is like pill crazy... so many side effects as a result.... more meds to treat the side effects...Ive found most doctors tend to want to give me more because I'm a big fellow... then again I'm not sure how they determine how much to give.... One of the journals in my doctors office about different prescriptions druggs simply stated if 100 mg works  then 150 or 200 mg will probablly work better...  Yeah fur rreall  This journal had every new drugg being produced today... so I 'looked up my  prescriptions... basically all  said the same thing ...oh of course it said what it was use to treat...Take Diovan for instance....I was started out on like 360mg daily... mixed with several other meds...  I broke out in a rash  on my face the first day... it's is a lite rash mostly in my beard or mustache,  but I had never had this rash untill i started takin Diovan...I fought to get this reduced bacause I was fallin a sleep at the wheel.... and just didnt' have any engery during the day...I got em down too 80  mg daily...and changed the time I took my meds... I don't sleep all day.... and I dont' fall asleep drive-N my van...  I let em talk me into uping my  mg to 160.... the rash is back...then they wanted me to take 80mg  more a day... jeeesh they never give up.... so I tried it for a while... got sleepy again... rash  on my face starts getin scaly... flackin off... gee... who's suppose to decide when enuff is enuff...   Well I did... so back to 160 mg and would like to dropp to 80 again...All I'm really tryin to say is because I don't  get the same medical attention that folk   with insurance get I see a lot of waist... mostly money.. and pain that folks are put thru just because these medical providers can drain your pocket book... and or insurance...Since my disability shut me down in 1990...  I've had one MRI... and it was done by a tech... that hadn't ever done one before... so she started it with /out and IV... and the whole time was waisted  because THE MRI... wasn't done correctly... but hey they still charged 1000.00 dollars and when I complained about it being done wrong...  Human resourses threaten to take away my benefits for my children if I filed a complaint...   cool huh!!To tell it like it is...  these Medical providers are just abusing the patients for every buck they can get out of them... lots of unnesseccary test and well I'm just telling what I know I've seenProblem  is I'm not a doctor... I can't tell you what You need..  but I think some  of us need to make the choice for ourselves...  be informed  look up ya meds... study the side effects... ask questions ... course the side effects of  standing up for yaself is .... you get to change doctors a lot... me I don't hardly ever see a doc...  just the therapist... nurses trained in this  and that.... and soon as i refuse to do what one therapist wants .... I find myself switch to another... and I have to start all over again... franklly the one I have now told me if I"m not gonna do things her way   she didn't need to see me....  as often...  cool  cause I'm doing good... great test results.. and feel way more better.....bp 120/78...pulse of 56.... feelin more human everyday....   Oh I have one Doctor... blood specialist... he says I'm his most improved patient...  told me to keep up what ever it is I am doing..... Yee hawe  one for russ...  later
