Looking Forward To MY 40th High School Reunion !!

Long Ago Memories of Crowed halls filled with chatter; Sharing daily happenings and things to us mattered. Room to room we gathered in such was our lot, Friendships forged, some lasting lifetimes, some not. To look back in the looking Glass, of Classmates andFriends, May open the door to Friendships, so they may liveAgain. Who knew, when we were rushing, to reach year's end We would find the time too short to be with Friends. Worrying about the next test we may be about to blow, The football game, hair and dress and clothes; Who was who, what was what and the Music, so cool. Wondering, sometimes, why we ever had to be in school! Away me marched, scattered to the corners of the Wind, We had college, jobs, marriage and a new set ofFriends. Our attention was given in struggling to make, "TheGood Life"Or a Relationship with a husband or a wife. The years skimmed by, we looked for we wanted, Working hard to fulfill our Dreams, to finish what weStarted. A car, a home, a boat, a trip, new shoes, new clothesAnd stuff; We learned about ourselves and found our parents wereNot so rough. We found our Parents voices coming out of our ownMouths ! Scolding our own Children not to be so Loud ! The Circle of Life Goes Round And Never Ends, Each is joined link by link with Family and Friends. Each of us Traveled our separate Roads which brings usHere Today; For all our travels, in the Journey of Life,Friendships here have Stayed.
