Looking forward
Talking to the psych doc half of my PM group, he asked if everything we were working towards happened today, if we left the apt and went directly to what we are hoping for the future - could we do it?
the answer was 'no', but after talking to him for a bit, and having it kick around in my brain for the last four days... the answer is 'almost'.
So what do I need to do between here and there???
I need to build my core strength and limber my knees. I am pretty sure I can do that with yoga. Which I did last night and will do again tonight as I go to bed.
I need to get my pain better under control... That is what the PM visits are all about.
That is not that much between me and where I need to be. Hubby is a bit further. He needs to lose 200lbs, but moving to help me will get him there.
Yesterday I went over with hubby what livestock I am going to need. At max there will be three equines... My retiring horse, my up and coming mule, and my daughter's horse. I need a milk cow for milk - hate goats milk. The cow gives me enough milk to raise a couple of pigs on a diet of half milk for some great tasting pork. A pasture with a couple beef cows lets me butcher one every year and buy a new one. Lastly, chickens running around take care of flies and also produce eggs.
I can take care of that many animals, as long as it is set up correctly.
That leaves hubby free to run the paintball/event area from the rest of the property.
We can do this. Just have to get out of this house. Kitchen is about 1/3rd the way clean now.
