lookin\' down?
Did I not say that "this" - this teenage - recovery/addiction "thing", at one time, is like a roller coaster? T wouldn't get up for school today - claiming he had a headache and was nauseous. I left and came back hours later to find him not home. He had left the TV on and his plates and food out. I could smell a recent smoked cigarette in the garage after I got out of my van. I called school and he hadn't shown up - yet. Well - the time he was to be there for his last class time - he didn't show for either. He had told me this morning that he had an in-school suspension for not serving an after- school detention a while back. So I hear from the assistant principal and T was definitely a no show. Good job T! Just before your assessment, too. sigh........

I know I have not been around much.. I must say, though that I admire you perserverence! T is soooo lucky to have you. I believe, one day, he will truly figure it out, but probably not until he is on his own.. I do not know. I think, though, that you are setting the groundwork for that time! You inspire me! I hope your other two boys are doing all right, you and your husband, too. Take care! Clare
