Look What God Can Do
Hey there! I had a very interesting day today. Actually, Thursday wasn't that bad either. My pain level has gone down slightly and I was able to get a few things accomplished. Plus I finally decided to make contact with a former friend who had called child protective services on me last year. I will be the first to admit that my house is not clean by any stretch of the imagination and I wish I was well so it wouldn't get cluttered like it does. Before this disease I worked 2 jobs, walked 5 miles a day, was raising 2 children, cooked, cleaned, did all the budgeting, laundry and shopping. No Problem. Now, most days I'm lucky to get out of bed, get the kids and myself dressed, and keep everybody fed. If I have a decent day, I try to attempt the others. On really good days I usually get everything caught up and then I'm miserable for days afterwards because I overdid. Can't win for loosing! Anyhow, I contacted Amy because God kept putting it on my heart. Her husband Brian is in the Army Reserves and has been deployed for the second time. I wanted to tell her that my thoughts and prayers we with them. And I thanked them for their sacrifice as a family. I also told her that I forgave her for what she did and I held no ill will or bitterness toward her. I was shocked to have her call me in about 10-15 minutes after the e-mail was sent. We talk off and on all day today and we are going to try to get the kids together. Our daughters' were best off friends before the problems and all four of them were chomping at the bit to get together when they knew we were talking again. I'm just grateful to God for pushing me to contact her. Amy was one of the few people I could really trust and I hope we can rebuild that relationship. Thanks for reading!! Prayers & Blessings, Sabrina
