Lonliness and worthlessness

I joined this organization to talk to people like me who deal with pain and depression and often lonliness beig almost a social outcast . And I am talking to myself as I often do.If any one reads this any one of any kind. Then we are family in a way and I am reaching out for a hand up and a understanding ear.My goal is simple I am going to overcome and control this depression before it kills me !!!.

Today is one of the black days I am trying everything to break the darkness but the rush\'s are to strong .I can handle the depression it is the physical symptoms that are so hard to overcome I get rush\'s of worthlessness and uselessness.

You have a wonderful goal. You can control this depression. Get out and do something to get your mind off your self. I know you have hobbies and friends. The winter is behind us and the bright beautiful warm days makes me feel better and I know it does you also.

Wow, what a fantastic attitude. You are doing the right thing, FORCING yourself to stay positive when this illness threatens to overcome you.
I\'m not sure if you are religious or not, but one of the best things that helped me out my depression was listening to Joel Osteen\'s audiobook \"Your Best Life Now.\" He\'s a pastor and helped me see God in a much more loving and benevolent light than I ever had before, and he\'s also very good at helping you to see the positive side of things, when you can\'t on your own.
Another great resource for me was reading the book \"How You Feel is Up to You\" by Gary McKay. That really helped me to put a \"stop!\" to my negative thoughts before they could take over. It\'s a fight, for sure, but worth the battle if it ends up saving your life.
My heart goes out to you, buddy. I have been where you are and it\'s a hellish place, but there IS life after what you are going through now. Believe me!
