Long Week

Flew my step daughter in from Illinois to see her dad last Monday, I got the flu on Tuesday and sick all week.  Daughter went home yesterday and I am finally better now. Still waiting to see improvement in my husband, he is not as sleepy anymore now that he is off the Zyprexa, but not much better than that. I think this is just about the way it is going to be from now on. I feel so sorry for him, he has always had such strength and energy and now just sits here.  We have another doctor appt on the 28th with internist.  She has been out of town for the last 3 weeks so has not been any help.  Jim says he wants to go in the hospital when she gets back just to see if they can find something wrong.  I think it is just stage 4 PAH.  It is what it is.  Maybe they can adjust his medication or change it. I don't know. I am always trying to be the doctor because I have been with him from the beginning and know him better than anyone. I signed up to the PAH Association website hoping for more info from them, will check it today.  9 am and Jim is still in bed.  He needs his rest. I was so hoping he would get up this morning and be feeling full of energy.  I guess those days are gone.  We still had some of those only a few short months ago, so it is hard for me to fully accept as each day goes by with no change.  I suppose I should get up from here and make myself get dressed and pretend everything is okay.  Bye
