Long update
Well, here is what is new:
David was on a 5 day suspension, out of school, but going to alternative school. Day 4 he got in another fight and got another 3 days of suspension. He broke the button for my garage door opener so now my garage door does not work and I have to park on the street and come in the back door as I can't park in the driveway! I also found 2 "empty" bags of pot in David's backpack along with part of a roll of aluminum foil. I am beyond pissed.
I did another rescue transport 2/3/13. I took the Wilmington DE to Atco NJ leg. 2 beagles (Shorty and Bucky) and 2 English Setter girls, both named Daisy. 1 Daisy and Bucky have been adopted already! Woo Hoo! the other Daisy needs surgery to remove some tumors/skin tags and get spayed. She is in foster care now. David came with me and had Bucky in his lap and he was so happy and animated the whole way home. we even stopped for coffee and donuts and had a good talk on the way home.
David is failing school. He just keeps blowing off everything, and now has missed 8 additional days. I went to lunch/brunch yesterday with my mom, sister Annette, brother Sal. My sister's daughter went to cyber school and graduated a year early. David has been requesting cyber school. Long conversation with my sister and mom and I am starting to think that maybe this is a better way to go. he works at his own pace. No more "zeroes." All online. No kids to fight with. All of the courses are taped. he can hit pause, walk around, and hit play. I can keep better track of what he is doing. It is $2000 per year for the private option and he gets a lot of 1 on 1 skype time with teachers. He can start immediately. We can take a laptop and go on vacation any time we want. The $2000 a year is for everything, including the books. After talking with the guy on the phone, it will make it very difficult for David to have excuses. You log in, do the work. He can't lose the papers like he does now or say I didn't get the work. David actually seems excited by it. Now the downside is getting him to do the work. is he going to sit home and not do the work or run out the door every 5 minutes? but guess what. He is doing that now. I just don't see how it can be worse. He is smoking and doing drugs at school. So maybe this is better. Anyway, we are researching and talking about it.
My weight has crept back up to 165 lbs and I feel awful about it. I have been really struggling with being tired and have a hard time getting up. Very little exercise. Binge eating and eating junk is awful. I guess a lot of it is emotional, depression, boredom. i even eat when I am beyond full. I have been fighting the blahs for 2 months now. I feel like time is slipping by. I feel disgusted with myself. Feelings of missed opportunities? Missing out? I still get very mild anxiety. Thank God not as bad as before, but it is there, just under the surface.
Work is ok. Could be a lot worse. Raises come out 3/1/13, so holding my breath. thank goodness we haven't had too much snow here. We only got about an inch the other day compared to over 36 inches in Boston! if I could get over this tiredness and focus better, work would actually be pretty good. As it is, I am struggling to keep up,but not because of too much work but because I can't get up in the AM and have a hard time focusing.
I can't wait for Spring. Warmth, longer days. Kona and Remmy continue to be my joy in life. Kona is under my feet right now and Remmy is next to me in his bed, both sleeping like angels. Remmy's breeder, Donna, has a dog named Flyer (GCH Sandpipers Castles in the aire). I have a picture of him on here. He won Best in Breed yesterday in Secaucus NJ and is now at Westminster. I am hoping and praying he goes to best in group on Tuesday so I get to see him on TV! Niles is Remmy's father and Flyer is Niles' brother, which makes Flyer Remmy's uncle. Remmy's other uncle, Carson, went to Westminster Best in Group a couple of years ago and was #1 Gordon Setter in the country 2 years in a row! Sandpiper is the name of the kennel. So I am SO excited and hoping to see Donna on tv on Tuesday!
Remember the situation with the murder and attempted suicide in the house behind me a year ago? Wife killed husband then tried to kill herself. She plead guilty to 2nd degree murder. Well a month ago, her so was shot by my neighbor in the same house and then she shot and killed herself in a murder suicide pact. He survived and is in jail for drugs and illegal gun possession among other things. Well now, a couple of days ago, her husband committed suicide in their home on the corner! Ugh! I am surrounded by drama!
I am currently reading the 2nd Game of Thrones book- A Clash of Kings. Trying to get through it before Season 3 starts on HBO.
I keep having dreams about shopping for a new house. In every one, the house is bigger on the inside than on the outside, filled with hidden rooms and lots of clutter and sometimes one or two rooms is damaged in some way, ie: by fire. I saw a Dr Oz show recently where a woman was interpreting dreams and said dreams about houses always refer to our bodies. So I guess subconciously I see myself filled with clutter and damage? Hmmmm.. Scary.
OK. Time to regroup. Exercise. Eat better. Take my vitamins. Focus. Clear the clutter, both in my home and in my life. I found a really good saying on Facebook:
If you are tired of starting over, stop giving up!

The cyber school option sounds interesting. Two of my grandchildren were able to turn their lives around with alterative school.
Have you seen your doctor regarding the exhaustion? More than likely from stress but best to check all bases.
MY DAUGHTER WENT TO INTERNET SCHOOL. HER \'S WAS YEAR ROUND. THERE WERE TEACHES BUT EVERYTHING WAS REALLY DONE ON HER OWN. THE ONE THAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT SOUNDS GREAT. IS THE SCHOOL YEAR ROUND AND ON WEEKENDS? LET ME KNOW ALL ABOUT IT. IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA ESPECIALLY IF HE\'S BEEN ASKING ABOUT IT.
I HOPE YOU START FEELING BETTER SOON. YOU\'VE BEEN THREW SO MUCH NO WONDER YOU ARE TIRED. STRESS IS A BIG FACTOR.
GOOD LUCK WITH EVEYTHING.
I hope and pray that this is a solution for David and your family.
Take a moment today to know that you are loved and appreciated.
