Long Time no see

I have not been here in a very long time... Moved on in life... At the same time i have my moments ... I started a group called Widow  Works.... It is not a grieving group and it is not a dating site ... It has not been easy ... The idea was to help each other with things that become more difficult and a lot less fun when we are alone ... The work has been going well... But it is hard to find widowers ... many times the widows feel that helping them with a house hold project etc... is a claim to a relationship... But frustratingly we are growing and looking for new chapters ... sales ... painting .. pottery  etc... Please feel free to find us on face Book ....
 
 As for me personally ... I am working on my book ... I started out to write a book on "Cancer Survivors".. Those of us left standing after the battle is over ... The search for love again ... It has been the best year and the worst year of my life ...
 
 I thought you guys may enjoy the dedication to the book... I called it K2   as kathy was Kathy with a K... K2 is the world's deadliest  mountain to summit ... and i was in the library on day  and the cutest less than five foot playboy centerfold girl came up to me and asked " excuse me but is this zip code 23602/'   i responded "who cares,  what is your name ?"   She said Kathy ... I asked with a K?    when she said yes a had to respond OMG you are K2... LOL... It was hands down the best relationship of my life !   for 12 days ... her abusive ex kept texting her ... really bad stuff... she went back to him and married him.... In about six weeks they were separated ... restraining orders etc... The girl is off the charts perfect ... But i really don't need any trouble ... Anyway ??? a really great setting for the book ...
and who knows ... I have discovered I am a rarity ... and as time has passed I like my own company ...  I love being me again without the compromise of being in a relationship . Still I want that partnership... and many say they want not need someone in their life ... I realize I need someone ... someone to enjoy the wildflowers I pic... to share the simple things ..
