Long term thoughts
We are starting to see each other every day. It's a big step for me but I'm hanging in there. I'm in a real adult relationship I haven't been in a serious relationship since I was probably 15 yo. This is new to me. She's been in 2 relationships including being married for what? 5 years. I think im the one who needs it to move slow for once.

You don't have to see her every day, you know. It is still early on as you said. Listen to your instinct, your inner wisdom. If you need some away time, say every other day, that is perfectly fine. She just may be a person who wants instant connection while you now know that takes much time. Not criticizing her on this. And sex to a woman, many women, is "instant connection" and bonding. Men's brains handle this differently. Just take some time to think about what you need in this relationship and allow it to be slow. My timeline is 12 months. Date for 12 months (not live together) and by then we start to know someone. Give it 18 months and we tend to really know them. Some of us can hold back our warts and bad behaviors for a while but that soon wears off and we go back to our normal selves. By 12-18 months we have usually experienced their normal self and they have experienced our normal self. You are doing great, just listen to your gut. I am a person who needs a lot of alone time, I don't want to be doing something with someone every day. Even my great love, even back in high school. I just like to do my own thing. Nothing wrong with that but we have to understand our own needs and wants so that we don't end up unhappy in a relationship.
It's not every single day but it's about there. I didn't make that clear in the op. Your advice makes sense and I'll try that. Possibly not that long of a time but I'll consider things along the way. Thanx.
Good that you're going slow
