Long time
Well it sure has been a long time since I have been on DS . I am trying to deal with my Dad and his cancer also dealing with my SM (not very succesful in either). I did go see the pain doctor agian after he and the new NS that I saw last year just dropped the ball on my case . They both had told me that they would get back to me , but that did`t happen . Now it has been a week and I have to get back in touch with the pain doc because it looks like he dropped the ball agian . It wouldn`t be so bad but I had another MRI and he hasn`t said anything . I know these doctors around here don`t know much about SM but come on...at least do something don`t just leave it and not do anything . I know this is something that I talk about ,espscally since I have moved from Denver to here in New Mexico but you would think by now the word would have gotten around and there would be more awarness on the part of doctors . But for some reason there is this block in their brains when it comes to SM . I could talk to my NS all day about my brain injury but when it comes to SM he just shuts me out amd dosen`t say much if anything .....so frustrating .

WOW! Sorry to hear you still are having non caring docs, is this unusual with SM? How do they react when you demand better care?
I\'m leaning on coming back here because it has so many more tools and more \"fun\" than the Canadian site.
Foe some reason the canadian site dosen`t have a place where I can change my e-mail address so in order for me to log in I have to use my old one which I no longer have and account with the carrier .So I sent a message to Carion and haven`t heard anything yet .So I can`t get on the site .
My doctors just don`t seem to have a clue as to what to do so they choose not to do anything . I am going to call the pain doc tomorrow and ask him why he has not called me back after putting me through another MRI .Come on it hass been almost two weeks and still I hear nothing .
