Long Time!
Wow! It has beena long long time since I have been here. My computer crashed, yet again, and I am still trying to get everything back.
So news. My lovebird Ron has passed away. We are trying to give Hermione lots of attention hoping she will survive. Our dog Hagrid had a real scare last week. I was taking him out for a walk and he collapsed in our driveway. I didn't think he would ever get up again. But he somehow recovered. The vet isn't sure what happened. Could be a seziere or a stroke. But probably related to the cancer. We got some new meds though and he seems to be doing better.
I am still running, but I gained 10 pounds this summer. YUCK! Now I am trying to take it back off. I am getting NO support from family or friends. They all think I'm crazy for trying to loose it again. In fact my hubby even got a little mad at me. So I am on my own I suppose. It's really hard when you work in an office where everyone eats all flippin day long. Then they want to go out to lunch!
My sons came home. That was wonderful. But I found out my oldest will not be home for Christmas. He has to go out on a 7 month cruise on the Whitby Island starting in November. But my yonger son promises he will be home.

I have to admit when you don\'t write, I don\'t visit DS anymore. FB takes up too much of my computer time. I\'ve been working on quilting too. I really enjoy it but i is a time-consuming hobby.
Nothing much new in my life. I have almost given up on trying to lose weight. Have started exercising though....eliptical and stationary bike for about an hour a day 5 days a week. I think I\'m rebelling against all the hype about obesity! We get it! Now move on to something else!! I know what you mean about food and work. Anywhere I\'ve taught that has been the case. You can put anything on the teachers\' room table and it will be gone before the days over. Unfortunately I always helped make that happen. We all feed our frustrations, stuffing down the feelings.
Anyway, it\'s good to hear from you. Glad you got to visit with your boys. That first Christmas without all the birds in the nest is a tough one, for both of you, I\'m sure.
