What can I say? This month is special. It's been exactly 10 years since I've been diagnosed with bipolar. And it has been one long ride. So many episodes and hospitalizations later, I really can't believe I'm still standing. I've lost friends along the way, lost my job, ... lost a lot of myself. But overall, I can smile (at least half). Every day is a challenge, every moment is a challenge.
I have loved and lost throughout the last 10 years and been through unbelievable heartbreak. Sometimes I really believe that it will never end. I've been searching for something special...
