Long Days

My husband passed away May 20, 2014. I went to work that morning told him goodbye and came home to find he had passed away in the afternoon of a heart attack. We were together 42 years and I miss my best friend and love of my life desperately. We built our home in the country raised our two sons and were looking forward to retirement. I used to love living in the country with no neighbors but now feel so isolated and alone this time of year. I went back to work and push myself to take one day at a time but am trying to figure out where I go from here. I try to be strong for my children and grandchildren but alone I struggle to cope with all these emotions.
