Lonelyness
Im not to sure if its because the new year is gonna be starting or the fact I am going to be alone tonight to bring in the new year or maybe because everytime I check social media there is no messages which confirms everyone else has something and someone to be with this old years eve and Im sat here lonely and alone
Think Im going to try sleep early tonight and hope there is no fireworks at midnight because my dogs will be scared

it takes more than one brick to make a wall of isolation. i'll bet dollars to wishes that those are not the only bricks in your lonely wall. i know for sure they aren't the only bricks in mine.
no fireworks on new year's eve? please give me the directions to THAT neighborhood. i live in the middle of 140 acres in cattle country and we still get enough fireworks to scare the milk out of a dairy cow. you'll find me hiding with the dogs at the stroke of the new year.

Fireworks are a part of the new year celebration everywhere. Not comfortable for me, due to neighbors who have thrown them onto our roof previously. Here's to staying safe.
