Lonely and unsure
A week ago today, I made a huge life altering change by having gastric bypass surgery. I have fought with my weight my entire life, and after 33 years and a whole slew of health issues I knew I had to do something. I heard from countless people that I dont look that big and how am I big enough to warrent surgery. Well I am and I have a list of health problems to prove my need for it. I am happy with my choice for the most part this week I feel pretty good . I am still not able to eat real food yet, but I know I will get there. I spent my first week post op feeling like crap and did not have time to think about all the weirdness and loneliness that would come with this surgery. I dont know why but for the first time in my life I feel overwhelmingly alone. I am single and have been so since June. It honeslty has not really bothered me much being single. I was mostly happy and focused on having this surgery and getting my life back, but today I was hit with this wave of loneliness that I do not know how to overcome.
