Lonely
lonely, yes, I have my grand kids with me most of the time but I don't get out of the house much anymore and living in a basement with windows where the top of the window is even with the ground outside. I have one florescent light and the rest are normal leaving the place dark and dreary. I just need to find a time around babysitting to get out and do something. The problem is I don't have any friends to go out with. I guess I could take them out, but have no money either and they always want something. We can go to the movies because their dad works at the theater and can get us in free, but how many kids shows can one stand watching over and over. Any ideas are welcome...everyone have a good day....

Are there any parks around where you live. We have a park near me and I take the grandkids there with a good book. Luckily, I live near the beach so in the summer, we can always go there. I work, so I have many friends there. My daughter and two grandkids moved in with me so I\'ve been busy trying to make as much room as possible. I have a WII so we spend time playing games on it. Sending you a bunch of hugs and hope you have a fun day.
I took the kids to \"Rango\" again for the I the 5th time. I have learned to take my PSPgo with me. It has accomplished two things. the kids are entertained and I get my 1 1/2 hours of time where I put on my music and lay my head back and relax. It is still too cold to take them to the park but it is on my summer list of things to do. I did take Ashlynn with my sister to the park and feed the ducks. I guess that is another thing I can take them out to do. I would still like someone more my age to talk to. My sister lives in Salt Lake City and I live 42 miles away in Orem. I think if we lived closer we would have a good time. hopefully I can find someone close by to do things with.
I guess that you are not Mormon as, then, you would have a lot to do, given the social structure of Mormanism. Do you have any particular belief or none at all? Check out Meetup.com and see if there are any groups there in which you have an interest. It is free, usually, and if an even costs anything, it will tell you in the event description header. I am sure that you can find something, OK? I will look into OREM and see what is there as well. Hugs.
I am a Mormon, but I don\'t live in my ward boundary. I live about 2 1/2 miles from them and there are Mormon churches everywhere here. There are probably 8 churches between where I live and where I attend. I know 4 of the women pretty well, but we just don\'t spend time together really. My visiting teachers and my home teachers come once a month and that is it other than seeing them at church and to be honest other than them I am not really a social person leaving myself inside my little shell.
