Logging attacks
Just trying to keep track of when attacks happen. Last night and this morning were pretty bad. Not sure if body is starting to tolerate the Carbamazepine but in the early evening experienced 3 attacks and vomitted (attack occurred then as well). Got up this morning and while brushing my teeth, attacks came back as well. Very painful. Keep getting headaches on left side but Oral Surgeon stated that it was unrelated to the TN. How can that be?
Emailed old school friend who happens to be a dentist in Virginia and he responded that in all the years that he has been practicing dentistry and he has diagnosed 1 patiente with TN. Stated that he would of immediately referred to Neurologist and NOT an Oral Surgeon. Aksed to keep him posted on results and studies. Recommended Duke/UNC research to see if there are any physicians that specialize in TN here in NC.
Seeing Neurologist on the 19th. Looking forward to what he has to say.
