loser

  have you ever been called a loser?     I have, many times.  Got a tele call about 40 min ago, an ole cronie had to remind me that Mizzou lost to OKy state last night, he further informed me how bad the Chiefs were and the banter continued.   No big deal really, but it got this peapicking brain to thinking ( peapickers are considered dumb, according to my stbx}   Been to counselors in the past, read books, been given advice by lots of folks, supposedly more wise than I.    The one thing all  have conveyed is this,  "surround yourself with good,  people, friends , things and accordingly good things will happen for you"   Check:   I have good friends, though not a lot.  Great friends through this website.  I know lots of wonderous people, wanderful too.  I even have a few nice things in my life.   Some good things are happening for me, though I still feel I deserve much more.   My quandry{sp} is this,   iF YOU NEED TO SURROUND YOURSELF WITH GOOD FOLKS IN ORDER TO SUCCEED, ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO JUMP SHIP WHEN THAT FRIEND GOES THROUGH  A LOSING SPELL,    i RATHER THINK NOT.     The friend who called this morn, has had more fav teams than Ive had underwear, He is a very successful business man, yet I would never call on him , if I was in need,  He dont associate with losers,  lol   and I am loyal to my beliefs.   in closing its simple, if your reading this, you are my friend in fair weather or foul.   Makes no difference how you see me, just as long as I see myself a winner, and with all of your support this ole redneck will be a winner again in the real things in life.   Friday night, my hometown football team destroyed their opposition, Saturday night Mizzou lost, The Chiefs cant lose this week they have a bye.  So Billy you lucky Dawg, bring on your banter, your loser jokes and quotes, your still my friend, but lets just wait to crown a champion, till the very bitter end.
