Living w/Afib

Hi, I am new to this site.  I felt a need to reach out to other people who are living with Afib.  I was diagnosed with Afib January of 2012 and had a stroke September 28, 2012 (which the doctors attributed to my Afib).  Thank God it was a very minor stroke but I am now on Coumadin and still experiencing bouts of Afib fairly regularly.  I tried a few medications but they made my symptoms worse.  The meds made me feel as if I was jumping out of my skin.  I have been to the ER twice because my heart rate was high enough to scare the mess out of me. My cardio doctor suggested ablation but I refused.  Just to scary to think about right now.  So, bottom line, I am trying to cope with this annoying Afib and not let it take over my life.  Thanks for listening.
