Living the Life

A student at my school has such a great attitude.  Actually he is a lot of work and a little unruly.  But that is ok.  He has amazing personality.  One day last year we were walking back to school from the park.  All the kids were lined up except this one precosious first grader.  He was lying on a park bench with his hands crossed behind his head and a smile on his face.  When asked what he was doing he said "Livin the life and lovin the life"  How could we be irritated at this boy for not following directions?  Well, this morning that popped into my head.  So often I go through life irritated, tired, and angry at the hand that I have been dealt.  How much better each day is when I focus on "living the life".  I am working on keeping peace in my day.  Peace brings me more joy.  Peace keeps my body in a healthier state and I feel better.  So I have a new goal.  I am working to find joy in my every day.  This disease may be stealing part of my life and my mobilty, but I refuse to let it steal my joy!  Keep the Peace!
