Little Puzzle Piece

Oh my dear dear peeps.  I got the most horrid news yesterday.   I cried for me, for my friend, for her husband, for their situation.  We have been best friends since HS and we refer to each other as "Jonathan" (her) and "David" (me).  It's that close of a friendship. I've been with her when her father passed, I've been with her helping as I could when her mom passed, her brother is on dialysis  and has cancer, her other brother has cancer, she is chronically ill with alot of the same junk as I, and now, yesterday, she found out "there's nothing left to do" for her hubby.  He had a double lung transplant and was just not accepting the news from the dr.  She motioned for the dr to SHUT UP until another time, but she understood all too well.  OH PLEASE PRAY FOR HER & HIM.  I could just curl into a fetal position in the corner.   I want the world to go away and my friend's life to be fixed! I lay face down in the floor of my bedroom crying and praying.  I don't doubt God's ability to heal him and make a laughing stock of the Drs. but I also know that God does say "no" because He sees the big picture and I only see my little puzzle piece.  I do pray that if it is not God's will he be healed on this side, that he go quickly and painlessly as possible to Heaven.  He's ready and has given his life to God long ago.  So has my friend. You may wonder "If God is so good, how can He let this happen?"  Well, I can tell you this, there was a "little puzzle piece" that was so ugly and horrific called Calvary, but in the big scheme of things, it's the most beautiful piece of the "puzzle of life".  If God spared not His own Son to save us and give us a way to have a relationship with HIM while we were yet sinners and against Him, tell me He doesn't understand pain, a broken heart, suffering.  He does.  You see, HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON AND HIS BEST.  Why?  Just to make a way to have a relationship (not religion!) with Him because He loved us so much. That my dearest peeps, isn't Bible thumping.....that is a love story from God to you that began before the dawn of time. I must go. Another crying jag, son still ill, and I've a grant to write TODAY.  Other than that, this ole WV SUPER WOMAN hasn't a thing to do! Remember, SMILE, enjoy your day, laugh, comfort someone, listen, in other words.....live in the moment.
