Little Better
I'm a little better now, but I am still a bit shaky. This morning the kid left without saying goodbye. Her bus comes at 8:05, and I went to get dressed, and when I came back into the living room it was 8:08, and she was gone. It's my own fault, because I usually go out and wait at the bus stop for her bus to come, but I lost track of time when I was getting dressed and missed her leaving. She wakes up every morning in a bad mood. It usually passes before she leaves, but she starts every morning screaming at me. She is angry if I wake her up, and she is angry if I don't wake her up. She is angry if I try to get her to get up too early, and she is angry if I don't wake her up early enough. I don't understand why all the people that have been in my life, from my mother, my ex-husband, my children, and now my grandchildren, feel that it is appropriate to scream at me and take all their anger out on me. My entire life, it seems, the person most important to me that is currently in my life seems to feel that I am the person that all the anger should be spilled upon. Makes me wonder, sometimes, if it is me. You know, if there is something about me that makes people want to scream.
