LISTERIA KILLER VIRUS IN ONTARIO & QUEBEC CANADA

Since a few days now we are experiencing a scary develpement regarding the outbreak of a new killer virus from food from the company Maple Leafs. No sure if it's sold in the States, but this company as operated for overa hundred year here in Canada. They produce, meat sandwish, bacon, ect.....The bactery is called : "LISTERIA".So far in Ontario, Toronto to be exact, there have been 15 deaths, there are actually 29 cases, and 31 suspected cases.Tonight it was reported that in Quebec, there is the same bactery going on, and they now have 9 cases in Montreal, Qc.The incubation time is 2months.Imagine living in fear of dying from a bacteria that could be inside your system incubating for 60 days, then kill you.So we are in great need to support and prayers for the family affected, and that this disease gets under control as soon as possible.Thank goodness I do not buy this type of meat, since we have our own living on a farm.I met my friend Monique today at the food store I always do my grocery and she was returning bacon she had bought there, and they had took off the shelves the recall meats that they sell.OMG I am soo relieved that we do not eat that. Now I've told my family not to eat sandwishes from friends, or co workers that might give them their lunch, you know!Never know!!!!Well good night and sleep well my friends.Mckenzie.One day at the time.

I am soo worried about this, for my family.
You know with my daughter in school, who knows what she eats there.
I have notified her, but will emphazise tonight, to stick to potatoes, or salads, no meat whatsoever.
We grow our cattles and chicken especially to prevent ourselves from these out breaks.
Really scary.
Please pray for all of the Canadian people who are exposed to such a dangerous situation.
Thanks to all who will read and spread the word on praying.
Mckenzie one day at the time.

Oh my....this is soooo scarey. These days it\'s hard to figure what to consume.Being that you grow your own cattle and chickens, you are in a good position.
At least you\'re on alert.
Thank you for the warning!

I\'m so glad that you brought this up...I\'ve seen the news here in the US world news and thought of you and your family. I\'m so glad you all are ok but will definitely pray for all the victims.

It is getting scary worldwide that we don\'t even know what to eat.

I like you tho do have my own cattle and fish, small garden at least.

It\'s a crazy epidemic, and it\'s even more so now a days. In the 70\'s when I was in the Navy and in third world countries, we were vaccinated against everything. They even had pills in the chow line to take for precautions of malaria.
NOW....it\'s becomming more and more prevelant hear in the GREAT North America. It\'s like we all seemed invincible to such viruis\'s, and now we\'re not so invincible as we once thought.
Heads up.
Love Ya\',

Yes this company does some shipping to the States, I heard it a little while ago on the news. So be careful. I\'ve told my daughter not to eat anything with meat, good thing she\'s a vegetarian, but will eat a big mac thought, lol.
But the same with Richard, he pretty much eats whatever the bosses bring to him in the fields, these days it\'s pretty always from the chip stands, you know burgers and fries, but usually it\'s a sandwish from the corner store, now that\'s what worries me soo.
Very scare, I\'m totally freaked by this outbreak.
Prayers please and thank you..

Wow, McKenzie, thanks for the heads-up on this. I pray that everyone in your circle of family and friends is well and continues to be well. It\'s sad that our food supply causes as much trouble as it does...so much of it lately.

I just did a search on Maple Leaf meats and here\'s a list of the recalled meats. It\'s not just Maple Leaf label, evidently they produce for other labels too, even Hickory Farms is on the recall list:
