LISTEN TO ME
I am on the edge. My psychiatrist says my life could be worse. And that it's my fault the medicine isn't working. I should be more patient with my mother who suffers from Alzheimer's I should be more understanding. Her brain is slowly dying. I should understand that I have siblings who work all the time and don't have enough guts to visit my mother. I'm tired of living on a fixed income not knowing where my cat is going to get his next meal. I'm tired of being so lonely that I cry at night. I'm tired of all it. But don't worry I will be back tomorrow to fight another day. Whoever reads this journal thank you for your kindness and patience.

Have you thought about finding a new psychiatrist? Perphaps one who understands the lonliness you feel from being homebound.
I hear you, my friend and want you to know that I am listening. I think your psychiatrist needs a counselor of his own. Telling you what you what you should and should not be doing is not helping you at all. He is supposed to be giving you support, not imposing his or her ideas about why you are unhappy and that you are causing your own grief.
I understand your frustrations and am praying for you that God will make a way for you. He oves you and is concerned about what happens in your life. And so am I.
I\'m so sorry....It\'s a tough struggle to find a good psychiatrist. I had to go through it for years. The only reason I have a good one know is because he was licensed to do ECT in my state. Eventually, I stopped the treatments, but he continued to care for me. I really feel that he does care. Anyway, just try to hang in there and keep looking for the right one.
