Lifetime trip

Gaining strength in my own power on different levels of carreer, and family, and community.

We cant believe it has been nearly two years since I declared independance from the step family. It took a bit of distance to understand some of what and why:

I was a 1970s love-child. I am the reason my folks married mid-pregnancy. My dad married my mother and ended his other romantic relationship with a woman he would later marry after my folks' divorce! She may see me as the product of her failed love, the reason for taking him away from her. She certainly has taken the 'sins-of-my-father' out on me.

I have periods where I fall into deep depression occassionally. I believe folks could thrive in family situations, and the loss can pile up on me- if I let it get out of controll, the crying and feelings of loss last for several days.

Today is a good day. I am busy living and creating a lovely life for my family, and developing a story about how this is a gift to be independant and in design.
