LIFE\'S A PRESENT

LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH LIFE'S A           PRESENT      * Please be kind to yourself.  You won't always do what you "should" remeber what Albert Ellis says about the "shoulds."  He says people should on themselves too much.  We're not perfect... We're all too human... and that's wonderful.  We can start over any time of the day or night...        Take a 10-30 minute walk every     day.  While you walk, smile.  It     is the ultimate Antidepressant.    Sit in silence for at least 10     minutes each day. Buy a clock if     you have to.     Pray and make time to      exercise.     Spend more time with people      over the age of 70 and under      the age of six.     Eat more foods that grow      on trees and plants and eat less      foods that are manufactured in     plants.     Drink green tea and plenty of      water.          Eat broccoli, almonds &       walnuts.    *Hmmmmm wonder if they      mean  broccoli with cheese      sauce and almond joys... Oh      Yeah...*            Try to make at least three      people smile each day.     Clear your clutter from your      house, car, desk, and let new        energy flow into your life.      Don't waste your precious       energy on gossip, issues of the       past, negative thoughts or      things you cannot control.        Instead, invest your energy in       the positive present moment.      Realize that life is a school and       you are here to learn. Problems       are simply part of the       curriculum, that appear and       fade away like Algebra class       ....the lessons you learn will      last a lifetime.      Eat breakfast like a king, lunch        like a prince and dinner like a       college kid with a maxed out       charge card.      Life isn't fair, but it's still good.      Life is too short to waste time       hating anyone.      You don't have to win every       argument.  Agree to disagree.      Make peace with your past so        it won't ruin the present.      Don't compare your life to       anyone else's life.  You have no       idea what their journey is all       about.      Go on and burn those      'special' scented Candles, use        the 600 thread count sheets,       the good china and wear fancy <>      lingerie now.          Stop waiting for a special       occasion. Every day is special.     *Woo Hoo your honey is going        to love this... *       No one is in charge of your       happiness except you.      Frame every so-called disaster       with these words: 'In five years,       will this matter?'     *This is probably my favorite       rule...*<>      Forgive everyone. FORGIVE <>      YOURSELF FIRST!!!        What other people think of you       is none of your business.     *I'm fine with that if they just       wouldn't insist on telling        me...*        Time heals almost everything.       Give time, time!      However good or bad a       situation is, it will change.      Your job won't take care of you       when you are sick. Your friends       and loved ones will.  Stay in       touch with them.     *If a friend or loved one is ill       they come before your job...        Get rid of anything that isn't       useful, beautiful or joyful.      Envy is a waste of time. You       already have all you need. God       provides!      The best is yet to come. (In       Heaven)      No matter how you feel, get       up, dress up and show up.      Do the right thing!      Call your family often.      Each night before you go to       bed complete the following       statements:            'I am thankful for ________'       Today I accomplished        _________.      Remember that you are too       blessed to be stressed.      Enjoy the ride. Remember that       this is not Disney World and       you certainly don't want a      Fast Pass. You only have one       ride through life so make the       most of it and enjoy the ride.      LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH. LIFE'S A       PRESENT . . .                 UNWRAP IT!                  Have a blessed day.

You can cross off me as one person you made smile today. Thanks, I love everything that your wrote. Only I can\'t wear that slinky lingerie because I\'ve had too much brocolli with cheese sauce and too many almond joys. Thanks, you\'re awesome. Love Robin
