i miss my rivers more than life, itself. losing my "pirates den" near the paducah river port authority was hands down, the greatest sacrifice i made to take care of my gk's. what locals call, "rivers" here on the southern great plains barely qualify as creeks in my estimation. yes, creeks are precious, but they are no substitusky for real rivers of my beloved river region where the mississippi meets the ohio and the wabash and the cumberland and the tennessee and more navigable rivers than i've bothered to count.
