Life looking UP!
Well, life is looking up....sort of. LOL You'd never believe what God's got me doing. I'm now in prison ministry, team leader of a support group for families with addicted loved ones, and doing the nursing home. Yeah, if any one would have said this would be where I'd be I would have laughed. Good thing God doesn't tell you where the path you're on leads to! :)
I'm now going to the prisons as my health will allow and I send newsletters weekly with a scripture, breaking it down as to what it means, and how it applies to life in these times. I have 1 that just got paroled (YEAH!) and another couple coming up for reconsideration which means they may or may not get probabtion.
I've learned a whole new world and language. Between the language and rules at the nursing home and the prisons, I guess I am TRI-LINGUAL? LOL
I hope you guys get a gander at my youngest boy. He has a "not girl friend". That one was new for me. He likes her, she likes him, but they've not decided if they want to be boyfriend/girlfriend. ROFLOL So, she's his "not girl friend".
He won State Competition for FBLA and now will go to California for the Nationals. He won the National Honors for High School Scholars which is like a Rhodes Scholar but at a high school level. And, CAROL, watch out, he plans to become a dual citizen of CANADA & US. He plans to do his bio-chemist research on the human genome in Canada.
OK, well, my med condition, dr leaving and I am praying the new one will take me and keep me on the regimen I am on. The stress is causing a flare. SHOCK!
New meds and the side effects are like I am going through DT's every day. However, this too is good as I can now truly understand what my clients talk about when they speak of withdrawal being Hell. I get it every day. Lord, help me. It's not stopped in 2 months so this is my "new" normal. The meds need to be increased as well. DEAR GOD HELP ME! On the plus side, I'm dropping weight from all the continual motion that I can't stop.
You got to look for the good and funny or you'll go insane. HUGS TO ALL!
