Life is what we make of it !

Life is what we make of it!Have you ever ask yourself, If I could have the experience I have now, and turn back the clock to age 18,where would I be.As I grow older, of course I make the best of the life I have now, and try to live it to the fullest. But what if ???I would definately go to The University, and go into medicine.Since I started being sick in 2000, I took a deep interest into medicine. Now 8 years later, I am an advocate for liver disease, not just that but I have my very own community, at the biggest Support Groupon the web. This Message Board has over 550 communities, and 300,000 members.Daily Strenght is known everywhere on the Globe.Doctors even recommend their patients to come to DS.So we must be doing something right.I for one have learned to appreciate everything about this huge place, I like to call my second home, and my second family.&Believe me I have worked at many message boards, so many that I couldn't even give you a number of how many I have done some type of advocacy.& This one is the best.I intend to post a poster of Daily Strenght at my PCP's office. Can you imagine how many people would care for themselves if they came on a message board to try to get advice, or heal themselvesby making friends, ect....A site like Daily Strenght gives hope to thousands of people a day, if not more.Lately I have been suffering from panic attacks.I met this woman who as open a sub-forum for Agoraphobia, and I asked her what was Agoraphobia, she proceededon telling me exactly what it was.I then told her that since doing my chemo treatment I had been housebound since. So I joinned her little group, which had maybe 12 members, now she has OMG I think 60 if not more, and this is just a couple of months,no more.So Lately I was having anxiety attacks, so I would go there and read the posts, and the little tricks they follow upon feeling an attacks coming and it has help me tremendously. So just ot show you, I needed some help and I didn't even have to do research or go anywhere, I had it all in front of me, in my second home.So again I would like to thank DS for choosing me as a Community Leader. Now to everyone on treatment, or suffering from hep c, may you allhave a wonderful restful weekend. One day at the time my friends.Mckenzie
