Life is such a Trial

I know I have not posted since August but my health has been aweful, actually for almost 2 years now it has been 1 thing after another. The last few months I have gotten some pretty rough diagnoses. Chronic Pancreatitis with no known reason, total bladder incontinence, a slow emptying stomach, an angry stomach, severe GERD, daytime sleep insomulance and bad shoulder, hip and sciatic issues. All of these are within the last 8 months. I am so overwhelmed with all of this and have been unable to even clean my house. Have tried to find help and can not even find that. Now yesterday saw my urologist who seriously has been dragging his feet and not really doing anything since I first saw him in August. The appt. started with before he even walked in with him asking the nurse how it was going in there, meaning my room, and the nurse told him I was fit to be tied. He opened the door and I asked what did she just say? He told me and I said well I wasnt but after that I am. That was rude and there was no reason for her to say such a thing. Well that really set the tone of the appt. He was very defensive and I was very adamant about needing to get this issue taken care of as I can not life like this. He looked and said well it looks like you have a bladder infection. I told him a little over a week ago I just finished 37 days of antibiotics that he prescribed so how in the world could I have another one already? He said did we do a culture last time and I said I dont know you have my chart right in front of you. He looked and said hmm we didnt well I will order it now and put you on antibiotic again for another 37 days. I said what do you have planned to get this issue taken care of. He hemmed and hawed and said well if we get rid of the infection we can possibly do botox. I said I CAN NOT live like this. He then suggested a special diagnostic test and of course it is only done somewhere further away and the first opening is Jan 22. He said you do realize dont you that I most likely will not be able to do anything and you WILL have to learn to live with this. All I said is that is not acceptable or an option. It was all I could do to not break down while making that test appt. As soon as I got out of the office and the door closed I lost it. After I got home I called my pharmacist because I have been on so many antibiotics the last few months. She suggested waiting until the results from the culture come back as this is very on my stomach. She also suggested that I talk to my pcp about going to Mayo or the U of MN and have them look at my total body and all the issues and work together to fix things. I see my NP for my pcp next wed so that is exactly what I am planning on doing. Having 13 different drs,nps and pas all doing just their specialty not looking at all my problems.n

My sons wedding in September was AWESOME!!! I am still flying high on how perfect it was and all the love felt throughout the weekend. I was included in anything and everything to do with the girls. It was so Beautiful and so much fun. They are both so happy and loving being married they still are glowing. They are now working on giving me another grandchild which of course I can not wait for.

My youngest son just bought a house a month ago and that daughter-in-law who I have always had difficulties with has changed so much since getting the house it is amazing. I now have 2 beautiful, loving and wonderful daughters. These things are what keep me fighting along with my 3 babes. Prayers are appreciated.

Sorry for whining so badly but I needed to get this out so I can move past it.

I think about you all often and you are always in my prayers.

God Bless you all.

Susie, you have my prayers for better health. It is so hard to feel so ill all the time. I too had doctors who only looked at a piece of me - their specialty - and were limited to that. That is how our medical system seems to be based. A few years ago, I started looking at other things online and found functional medicine. It starts treatment at the diet and proceeds from there. It is very hard always cooking everything from scratch but the resulting improvements have been worth it. I still have IBS and my diet is very limited due to many things that affected my stomach through the years but my health is much better. This seems to have worked for a lot of people but I have friends who can’t or won’t stay on the diet and it has not helped them. Anyway, enough on that...

So glad your family is doing well and you have your babies that keep you fighting. Hang in there...

Hi Susie,
I hope you get some answers regarding your health. It is so frustrating. I've been going to a pain clinic for back & leg pain & in physical therapy. I've had a couple of procedures that helped my leg pain but my back is still causing daily pain. I will pray for you.

Your son's wedding sounds like it was absolutely wonderful. So happy for all of you.

Love to you and dearest Jerred, Linda

Thank you all, You are each special to me and in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Well saw my NP and she was not open to my idea of going to the U of MN. She went out told my pcp everything and he said tell I am switching her to someone else. So I am calling tomorrow to find out who to call and set up an appointment and end this horrible issue. I see my gastro on Monday and hopefully he can help calm my stomach down. I am so nauseous even taking zophran. I have another new issue, now isnt that a surprise?....NOT. The sunday before Christmas I went into the kitchen to fix a sandwich and out of no where my eyes started going crazy, broke out in a cold sweat and started to feel like a wet noodle. I knew I was going to pass out but I could not do it there I had to get to my phone in the living room. My eyes settled down so I started for my chair. What normal takes just a few seconds took me over 5 minutes. I got there and noticed my heart was racing too, I knew my neighbor was up and she came over and said nothing to worry about. Well when I told my NP about and she saw I have been diagnosed with SVT (supraventricular tachycardia) meaning my heart will all of a sudden start beating very fast, When I got the diagnosis it was beating 300 beats per minute. My NP yelled at me for not getting in and said when not if it does happen again to get into the ER immediately. Almost thought it was going to happen again on Christmas but it didnt.
My New Years resolution is I am going to be positive no matter what. I did this in 2015 and I had never felt better and I lost 50 lbs that year. So hoping this will help.

I hope you all had a good holiday season, I did fortunately. I have been seeing signs from Jerred and actually feel him with me. It has helped me alot.

Love, Light and Hugs to each of you,
Susie
