Life is so empty without Sharon
I have had many losses in my life. I lost my Brother when I was 17 in a car accident. I lost my Mother to cancer when I was 33. Then At 40, I went next door to my Father's house and found he had shot himself in the head. And oddly, if you take all 3 of those and rolled them up together, they would seem like a cake walk compared to losing my Wife to cancer 2 weeks ago. The pain most times seems unbearable. I sleep much later, don't want to get out of bed, have lost 44 pounds since she got sick, and I just plain and simple don't know what to do with myself. Crying you say? no end to it. My emotions are raw. But I suspect that anyone else here that has lost their spouse knows what I am feeling. And to all of you I wish you peace and happiness. I am on this site because I am looking for some human connection. That seems to be in short supply these days also. People don't know how to take you or treat you when you suffer one of these losses. And I understand that. I am hoping the people on this site are different in that they know what this kind of loss means and are willing to help. If there is anything I can do to help any of you, the readers out there, I will do what I can to reach out and be a friend. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
