Life is Looking Brighter!

Learning to make the best decisions for me is not something I am used to doing.  It was always about the kids or John or our family.  All the kids are grown now and I have been told I never cut the apron strings.  But little by little they are starting to fray.  My kids are starting to act like grown-ups at 31, 25 and 22 I guess it is about time.  Just joking they will always be my little ones and I will spoil them rotten till the day I die.  Last night I had a dream not really sure, I have been dreaming of Mom, Dad and John for the last couple of weeks and they are having a blast together and let me know it all the time.  Well at midnight I heard something woke up and saw a male figure standing at the side of my bed, I was scared to death.  Hid under the covers and my heart was beating 90 miles a minute.  I finally fell asleep and woke up this morning realizing that there has to be more to life than just this.  My reading glasses were no where in site they were missing looked everywhere couldn't find them.  So no computer for me this morning (guess someone was trying to tell me something).  Went to work and talked to my attorney about my dream and she said I think someone is trying to get their point across.  I told her about a decision I have made and she was thrilled.  She came back to work after lunch walked in my office, and said "Good Afternoon Sunshine" referring to me, because I had made her day.   She is the sweetest person you could ever imagine.  She has been a blessing for me these last few months.  She is only 34 and could almost be my daughter I guess.  Her and her husband were both divorced before and are both fantastic people and together they are perfect for each other.  It is so good to see that there are some people who do have the same beliefs and have taken different paths but in the end we are all looking for the same outcome "Happiness" and they have truly found it.  A blended family his children and their children but love each other unconditional. It made me think of the quotes my daughter likes.  "If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands and don't let go.  If it changes your life, let it.  Nobody said life would be easy.  They just promised it would be worth it."  There is nothing in my life that I would change other than holding my stillborn son Joshua.  Life is what you make it and mine will be "FANTASTIC", that is a promise I have made to myself.  P. S. When I got home from work there on the side of my bed were my Reading Glasses I guess I can now get on my computer.  Hugs, Dra'

Your life WILL be fantastic because you are determined to make it that way. Every life is full of pitfalls, disappointments, and pain--no way of getting around it. But when push comes to shove, we have to make the decision to adjust our attitude in the midst of those negative elements. Not easy--not by a long shot. OK, Sunshine, press onward :>) TJ

Very encouraging. You will make it as long as you keep looking toward God and ralizing that he has something special for you. You will have your ups and downs but with your beautiful attitude; you will do just fine. See you in September.

I am really inspired by your journals. Your are early in your journey yet have maintained such a wholesome attitude. I enjoy coming to \"your place\" & reading of your progress. I thank you for sharing it. Your such a strong beautiful woman & seem to have such a great family along side of you.
Continue to do well.
I have had one encounter were I saw Bob walk down the hall and speak to me. Stand by my bed & I placed my hand on his chest I could not look at him because somehow I knew this wasnt real. I pushed him on the bed and the room started spinning round and round. By the time I thought I could open my eyes or had the guts to it was all gone. Weird.
Another dream I had I was crawling through the in the yard like in quick sand struggling to get up. I suppose during that time I had been involved in mass decision making, ect. I saw him walk to me so quietly, never said a word. Offered his hand helped me up to hold on to a tree & walked away. We never spoke. These were the only encounters I\'ve ever had of him coming [or I feel] to me.

I truly believe a positive attitude is 9/10ths of the battle - you will make it! Some days will be bleak - this is part of it -- but knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel - and going toward it - is what I try to do. May God bless you and your family - Doye

Thanks for so much inspiration! :) you\'re sounding great! re: your dreams of those who have already passed on? I was told & also read somewhere, that when we have dreams with loved ones who have left the planet already? They are trying to contact us and share some info. with us. As far as you seeing a male figure near your bed? Do you think it was your husband coming to visit you? I know my late partner came a few times to visit me and i was startled at first...but then realized what a gift it was as well.....I\'m sorry you got frightened, but I\'m sure no harm was intended!! Blessings to you, Jess
