Life Is Crummy
Tuesday, December 28, 2010–8:40 p.m.
I would like to forget most of what has happened during the past month. It seems as though almost everything–but not quite–has somehow managed to go wrong. Instead of going into everything that has occurred, I think that I will give just a short summary of events that have taken place. The first thing that comes to my mind is the fact that I have somehow managed to lose three of my closest friends on DS. I'm sad to say that I believe the two of them are now gone for good, but I still have some hope that the third person will return in the near future.I have had a blowup, of sorts, with my home healthcare agency. One of the people helping me at night has begun not showing up, and not even notifying their agency of that fact. Let's see, on Christmas Eve, not only did this woman not even show up, but she did not have the courtesy of notifying me to that effect. There are two people who help me each night thankfully, therefore there was at least one person here to give me the help I needed. But the woman who failed to appear seems all too willing to let the other person do all the work, while she still collects her money even though she never appeared. I was angry about the whole situation, and although I would normally just keep my mouth shut, I could no longer do that today. I called the agency and reported what had been done. The owner of the healthcare agency blamed me for not calling her when this happened on other nights. She finally decided to have this woman replaced, even though she had been working with me for about two years. I was asked not to say anything to her tonight or tomorrow night. That will give them time to find someone else to help me.Two weeks ago, my brother and I had what will probably be our last family therapy session together at the mental health clinic. He was angry from the minute he set foot in the door. My psychologist later told me that I was not to blame, because my brother not only took his anger out on me, but on the psychologist and another therapist as well. She said there was no way that I could have possibly answered all the questions directed to me by my brother, because he was too busy ranting and raving and casting out accusation after accusation at all three of us.I am going to see my psychologist, along with my sister, tomorrow afternoon. My sister does not go with me all the time, but my psychologist wanted her to attend a session or two (or more as has now become the case) in order to learn more about what happened within our family when I was very young. My sister is 11 years older than me, so she would have much of that information. Most of my right leg has become swollen. On August 4, or very close to that date, I broke my big toe on my right foot. Nearly 5 months have passed, and the toe still has not healed. Because of that I made an appointment, as per my doctor's orders, to see an orthopedic surgeon. The day I was to have seen her was for Monday, January 10, 2011. As my luck would have it, this had to be changed because someone is coming to inspect my apartment, and if I am not here at that time, I could end up losing my lease.I really feel as though almost everything in my life is pretty crummy right now. That is not a good way to feel, so I'm hoping that things will start getting better soon.

Boy Jim you sure have lots happening. You are like me things just seem to happen and go on. I always say how do these things happen when I barely leave my home. Hope you\'re enjoying your new computer, Hugs-Stephanie
I dunno what you could possibly have done to your brother. I\'ll say his anger was misdirected. Big time.
Been thinking about you. I was wondering how things are going with your sister. I had a feeling it might be going well. Is it?
Wow, I am sooo sorry that your poor foot has not gotten any better. I wish there was something I could do! I did not get a chance to read this until today Jan 19 2011, so I really hope you have seen the orthopedic by now. What a rotten way to make a living, but claiming to help people in such need, and collecting money for something that is so needed, when you havent done it. I hope that has been worked out for you as well. If I were an attorney, and I knew what to do, I make a damn stink with them. you have had so many problems with these in home agencies, I wish there was a better way to keep up with how these people are doing their jobs, on a government level.
