Life is complicated, but i am still here

Hi

I am a mother of four, three older children and my youngest fourth child has down syndrome.  He has hypo-plasti left venticle syndrome.  They never expected him to live but here he is.  He has had 2 heart surgeries, almost died on me a couple of times.

He is a strong little boy and has beaten the odds each time.  He is happy, stubborn, exciteable and very loving.  He is 14yrs old and i am happy he is still here.  His stats are starting to drop a little bit, but he is still strong and stubborn.

I have renal cell carcinoma, have had my right kidney removed, my right hip and thigh for tumors. I have a tumor on my spine, my left thigh, two of my ribs, on my jaw and two by my lymph nodes.  They have shrunk and now just stable.

I stay positive and I have alot of family by my side.  They encourage me and keep me positive.  I am very blessed to have a large loving family.  I wasn't able to walk for 2 yrs between the tumor on my hip and thigh and the doctors thinking i just needed therapy, which made everything worse.  Then the surgery was a radical surgery and took 14 months to heal properly.

I am not working anymore and my boyfriend lost his job so we had to move in with a friend and i am very grateful but would really love to have my own place.  Hopefully soon.

I stay positive and happy mostly but do have my days.
