Life In General
Does anyone else ever feel relief when company leaves & your house, your time & well your life return to what is nice & normal.
The visit was a bit crazy as there just seemed to be too many people my step daughter & granddaughter needed to spread themselves between. But I thought I'd handled it quite well but wthin abt 24 hrs of them leaving boy did I experience lupus skin flare issues. My vasculitis kind of when wacko. Still is not quite under control & I get super itchy but I'm focusing on settling things down. I don't think it's hepling with dad being in the hospital cause I have times of the day where I feel like I'm spreading myself a bit too much. But I try not to let myself get too out of control & to keep part of my focus on what my body needs. They're playing it day by day with dad. The hospital was going to see abt getting things set up for home care to go to his apartment every day. It was hard to get dad to even stay open minded abt this type of thing but I think it might all work out when all is said & done. He also seems to be open to getting one of those personal alarm system things, you know, the one he can wear around his neck or such & just press when there's an emergency. It sure would help give us some peace of mind.
Diet wise things are getting alot more back to normal. I'm still hesitant to do good high fiber foods. I can't really understand why I'm hanging onto this fear but I've really got to find a way to work that back into my diet. Strange huh.
Had my 6 wk post surgery checkup & the dr was pleased with the way things healed. I told him abt these what I call phantom gallbladder pains. You know how they say when people lose part of limb or such & they still feel it well thats what happened to me a few times. I think the dr felt that maybe it might of still been a muscle healing issue. As with some other conditions, lupus & diabetes can make healing alot slower then some other people.
I'll let you all go for now. Just thought I'd check in with all my friends & get caught up on life. Hopefully going to tend to some pics tomorrow.
Love you all my friends.
