life happens
what a week of ups and downs this has been. Our neighbour ( a shcool friend of my son) lost his 3 yr old stepson in a freak accident on sunday. They think that he got up early and was playing around and tried to climb a dresser and it fell on him. It was chaos around here for the day with the police and the family and what not going on....so sad. We are keeping their dog until they get everything planned and settled...they are not coming back to the house.
then I have a great weigh in and I am so surprised and happy, then the doctor's visit....I have thrush yea for me! which I think may help with the weight loss because i don't want to eat anything right now my mouth and throat are so uncomfortable.
I have been feeling really good latley until today I a so tired all of a sudden, but then again the other neighbours kids have been coming over to "help" me take care of the dogs....not used to having young ones in the house. I really don't mind them coming over but it is tireing somehow.
I have been trying to find somewhere to sign up for a yoga class but it is proving to be not that easy in this city.....(such a backward place) but will keep looking and maybe post on fb and see if anyone I know is taking a class or knows of one...wish me luck.
It has been so hot and humid that we haven't been able to go for any bike rides for a while, so I haven't been getting much exercise, except for housework stuff.
Going to try and catch a nap before my biofeedback treatment.

I can imagine how the stress of the death can affect you too. I can understand why you feel tired right now. It is so sad. I guess it makes me pause and think of how fragile life is and why I must cherish every moment I have.
It is good to hear you trying diferent things to help your healing. I think you are on the right track and just trust what your body is telling you. I wish I could listen better to what my body needs. I rarely take naps even when I need to. I am such an \"A\" type personality even with depression. Actually sometimes I think I get busier when I am depressed sometimes, lol! Oh well at least I do get things done. Have a lovely day and good luck on finding a yoga class. I have the wii exercise yoga. It is useful.
love & ((( hugs)))
That is horrible about the freak accident! Always horrible when a young one dies!
I may have told you this before but I got a tape from Walmart with 10 minute Pilate exercises in it ( Up to 50 minutes worth but in 10 minute segments, that works well for me cuz I don\'t last long because I know the Post Exertional Malaise will kick in) They had one on Yoga too.
So the weigh in went well!!! Yea!!!! I knew you had mentioned that you were afraid you would be disappointed.
I have thrush too! (All over more than anywhere else) Doc has prescribed Nystatin. Another friend suggested acidophilus (sp?)
Hang in there!
Peace, Love and Hugs
Oh my!! I\'m so sorry for everyone involved. As a mother I can\'t stand hearing stories like this because you always think about your young one. I can\'t imagine the pain and grief. I\'m thankful that they have you in their life, couldn\'t find anyone better.
I\'ve got that darn thrush again. Prednisone and diet. The only thing that worked for me last time was going sugar free for six months. First few days were not so much fun; but what was neat was seeing my tongue clear. It started at the front and by the end of the six months, the back was clear. I also did a cleanse but they are pretty intense you have to go slowly with them. Hard head had to learn the hard way. I was warned, but wanted to jump the gun anyway.
I don\'t go to a yoga class, but found a wonderful dvd. I love the meditation at the end. You feel as if you will float to the ceiling and nothing hurts. I will struggle to get to the end just for that meditiation. Of course I haven\'t gotten back to the yoga yet, which I should. Spending all that energy on cleaning and weeding.
I hope that you are able to find some peaceful moments in the near future. I know that it is pretty stressful now. Sending loving vibes your way, Kim
I think the death of a child, any ones child, affects everyone near in a very profound way.
Take good care,
Teisha
OMG, I wanted to comment on this entry that same day but I got distracted. I am in shock - I have a 3 year old and oh my god - this is just HORRIBLE. .......
About the thrush, I\'m interested in that - what was your treatment? how did you get diagnosed? I\'ve been on a Candida cleanse for six months and because of this I feel great. I\'ve been writing about it too, but it seemed no one is listening. It will be interesting to see how your MG symptoms cooperate once you target the thrush. Let me know how you do. By the way, a diet change is ESSENTIAL to completely cure it ;)
Good luck.
