Life Continutes. Update
Just so people don't think I've fallen off the face of the earth of late, since I've not been on the boards that much, thought I would update and say what's been going on.
One, I've been spending more time on other things of late. While I'm still not doing a whole lot of writing, I did finish editing a book I'd written a few years ago, and got it published. So I've been focused on that.
Two, we've had some financial difficulties of lately due to losing a good part of one week's unemployment in the xfer from state to federal sources. Yeah, that's right. All you guys are now paying my unemployment now. :) But I'm still looking. Best scenario would be to actually get a job. This is the longest in my life I've ever been unemployed.
But that and the loss of some part time work I was doing has put us in a financial crunch, so we're dealing with that and looking for solutions before the final hammer blow hits.
But I'm pretty much over the depression I was having earlier. Seeing what I was doing, dwelling on the A losses and such, that was what was causing me to get depressed. So in one sense, maybe I needed to take a break from the forums here to help get my mind off of it all.
But also, I'm just finding my interest is moving on. Which really is a good sign even if it means I'm not hanging around the forum boards as much. I'm hoping part of that means my desire to write will be coming back as well. And to a degree, I feel it is, even though I've not gone headlong into any creative writing project yet. But I'm getting the desire to do so more and more. So I think it is just a matter of time.
The interesting things is, this time last year, my wife had been going to the gym for a couple of weeks, and it was around this time that she met the man she would have a full seven week affair with. The affair started out in earnest toward the end of this month last year. But she'd already been full gear into sex chats and such online by this point. I know she'd say there is a huge, huge contrast where she was one year ago today, and where she is today. And I can tell. Big, big difference in her attitude, her interests, and how she conducts herself.
For which I am extremely grateful. But on the 11th we passed the ten month mark. So we are officially over ten months past dday. And everything is still on track as hoped originally. Now, if I could find a good job, we'd be doing even better than good. :)
