Life coming up on 39

Well I can say I am definitely not where I wanted to be coming up on 39 in seventeen days, however I certainly don't regret it. My son was worth it all watching him now with his drive to want to succeed. He has accomplished so much and because of that I am confident he will be independent with struggles just like the rest of the world. I can't deny that it is hard looking at myself and seeing all that I have lost over the years but now I am on a journey to find me. I have learned to love me through and through and don't need anyone to validate that for me and it is an amazing empowering feeling. I am Focusing on being healthy, focusing on being happy, and focusing on being me again. What most people have accomplished in the last ten years I am setting out to do now, and should I be scared ....YES....but I am not. I am heading back to school in the fall, and I am working on getting a job that is a career path not a 'for the time being kind of job', I will get my first tattoo...that's right almost 39 and not a single tattoo....or maybe I won't since it will all be going downhill soon LOL. The point is I am going to love this life, despite everything I have been through I love waking up everyday to have an opportunity to do something new and inch my way to a better me and love those around me who love me back. The rest...well...I am no longer wasting my time. Love, Compassion, Kindness, it is all FREE in this world and if you cannot afford that to others....Shame on you. For now I am off to learn at least one thing new today and work on a better tomorrow. Have a great day everyone!!!
